Anderson Mill West Park
Anderson Mill Park is a large community park located in the center of the District in the Anderson Mill West neighborhood, across the street from Cypress Elementary School on one of the District’s main collector roads, El Salido Parkway.

- Large, covered pavilion (available for reservation)
- Central playground with options for both toddlers and older children
- Lighted tennis courts
- Restrooms
- Basketball Court
- Gazebo
- Garden with bench swing
- Picnic tables
- Grills
- Walking trail (partially paved, partially crushed granite)
- Open space/grass areas (unimproved)
The Future of Anderson Mill West Park:
The District’s 2022 Adopted Park Plan includes the following recommendations for future improvements to Anderson Mill West Park over the next 5 years.
- Modernized swings and zipline
- Pickleball striping at tennis courts
- Conversion of sand volleyball court into natural play area
- Conversion of gazebo to playhouse
- Water bottle fill up station
- Paved sidewalk along Dagama Drive
- Upgrades to basketball court
- Tennis practice wall
- Improved lighting throughout park
- Improvements to the front open space area to better define the space and improve aesthetics and functionality
- Tree maintenance plan and improved landscaping
- Potential water play area pending further research into long-term maintenance costs
