Water Conservation

Due to ongoing drought conditions and persistently low lake levels, the City of Cedar Park entered Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures on August 14, 2023. This is an effort to conserve water, as required by the LCRA, which manages Cedar Park’s sole water supply, Lake Travis. Under the Drought Contingency Plan, which aligns with the LCRA Plan, the City of Cedar Park aims to reduce its water consumption by 10-to-20 percent. WTCMUD1 follows the City of Cedar Park water conservation restrictions. Currently we are under a Stage 3 water restriction, which allows residents to water one designated day per week before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. on your designated day.
