We are excited to announce that WTC MUD  #1  has applied for 2 grants with the AARP Community Challenge. The AARP Community Challenge provides small grants to fund "quick-action" projects that can help communities become more livable for people of all ages. Applications are accepted for projects to improve housing, transportation, public space, technology ("smart cities"), civic engagement and more. We have applied for 2 very exciting projects.

The first project is a rentable block party kit! With this we will be able to put together a block party kit that will include a number of party additions, including a blow-up projector movie kit, tables, chairs, coolers, games, and more!

The second community project proposal provides increased lighting throughout the crushed granite trail at Anderson Mill West Park. With this, we hope to bring a heightened sense of security as well as provide additional hours that the park can be utilized.

Check back for updates!
